After WWII Asian stuffed toys began to appear in Europe.
One of the more popular/prolific brands was the Shanghai Dolls Factory (SDF) .
The Teddy Bears were made out of dense pure wool, a plush similar to mohair plush but not quite as soft. Shanghai Dolls Factory stuffed toys were at the peak of their popularity from the late 1950s into the early 1970s.
